Stacie Smith

Stacie Smith completed an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University in 2020 and a professional degree in Education from the University of New Brunswick in 2022. She is pursuing her Master's in Arts in Education at Mount Saint Vincent University. In 2022, Future of Good named her one of 30 Young Impact Leaders, and in 2024, she was named the Atlantic Canada Emerging Leader as part of the Canada Volunteer Awards. 

Stacie has been involved in the non-profit sector in numerous roles, including the Youth Mental Health Project Coordinator at Partners for Youth, Youth Programs Lead at the YWCA Halifax, and Executive Director of the Young Canadians Roundtable on Health. 

Recently, she was a Co-Chair of the Youth Advisory Council of the Youth Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Services Review conducted by the NB Child and Youth Advocate’s office. She is also the founder of the Mental Health Student Support Network, a Youth Advisor with CAMH, and a Groundbreaker with Frayme. She is passionate about school food, food insecurity, youth mental health, and youth engagement.
